Parkland Golf and Country Club: Development started in 2006 and continued with Toll Brothers, who constructed another 820 villas and single family homes a few years later. In 2021, custom builders moved in to erect contemporary mansions. Thus, prices range from $340 per square foot (UA) to $650, resulting in MLS listings from under $1 million and peaking at $5 million (plus).
Active Adults Communities in Parkland (55+)
Falls at Parkland - A 2021 Centerline Capital Advisors construction of 106 upscale townhouses (villas) and 349 single family homes around lakes - 1,745 to 2641 square feet (UA). For contemporary material fittings and customized cabinetry, prices hover around $350 per square foot (UA). This neighborhood is a haven destination for 55+ seniors.
Four Seasons - A 2022 development integrated with 12 shimmering water lakes. It comprises 538 luxurious single-family homes with contemporary finishes across 18 one-story floor plans - 1,965 to 3,615 square feet (UA). Prices start at around $420 per square foot (UA).
Estate homes for sale in Parkland with few bells and whistles
Parkland Reserve - An ungated (but extraordinarily safe) community with low monthly HOA fees (under $180), tropical vegetation, and picturesque lakes. In 2010, Centerline Homes constructed 130 single family houses, followed by Richmond American's 33 estate residences erected between 2015 and 2017. Several single famul estates in the 2,500 square foot range at under $800,000.
Pine Tree Estates - This is a farming community (offering no lakes or water features) in the expansive neighborhood within a city, but providing lots of an acre or more accommodating horse stables and fruit orchids. It's the neighbor of the Parkland Equestrian Center and resembles Horseshoe Acres in Boca Raton at a fraction of the price. Two distinctive communities comprise over 600 single family homes, with development beginning in the 1970s and continuing to this day. Expect substantial architectural variance and customization on MLS listings. So, it's possible to buy a smaller home for under $900,000, but large ranch-style homes with complete upgrades sell in the millions.
Ternbridge - Developed over eleven years (1993 and 2004), the 198 single family homes range from 2,366 to 4,467 square feet (UA), and prices range from just under $300 to $400 per square foot (UA).
Tall Pines - Constructed pre-2000 (i.e., between 1994 and 1998). There are only 100 custom-built, estate-sized homes - 3,276 to 4,238 square feet (UA) located on oversized half-acre and one-acre lots. Prices range from $300 to $450 per square foot (UA), signifying vast interior and exterior upgrade variances.
Fox Ridge - Located east of Pine Island and north of Holmberg Road between 1995 and 2002, it’s a development of 600 Mediterranean homes, ranging in size from 2,700 to 3,680 square feet under air (UA), on one-third, half, and one-acre lots. Home values in 2022 ranged between $320 and $350 a square foot - indicating that renovation is prolific in the community.
Meadow Run - Constructed between 1993 to 1996, comprises homes between 2,200 and 6,000 square feet under air (i.e., 4 to 7 bedrooms), with 2- to 3-car garages. Prices are highly desirable at around $320 per square foot (UA) and lower.
