Located on a private peninsula on Stuart’s Hutchinson Island is Joe's Point, a gated community developed in the early 1980s by Lloyd Dutcher. Joe's Point has 56 homes, most of which are waterfront with private docks and sweeping views of the Indian River.

Although there are eight non-waterfront homes, the community marina provides docks and is just a short walk from these properties. Updates prospective buyers might expect to find are upgraded kitchens, new interior and exterior finishes, and renovated pool decks. As of December 2023, Joe's Point homes for sale average just over $2 million for a single-family home. HOA fees run about $358 monthly, with no mandatory club membership.
