Savanna Weston is a large master planned community of 2,819 single-family residences and townhomes, signifying a broad range of property types, accommodating close to 12,000 residents - 20% of the population in Weston, Florida (excluding 144 units in the Hammocks at Savanna). As a result, the neighborhood is the biggest gated community in Weston and arguably Broward County, occupying vast real estate acreage packed with inland lagoons that deliver beautiful private water views to the Savanna community. Our evaluation of the MLS action over one year identified around seventy-eight homes changing hands between $550,000 and $1.64 million - $270 to $430 per sq ft (UA). The pricing gap is due to sellers' upgrades (with MLS listings showing high-impact windows, new air-cons, modern stone, marble, and wood materials) and vista quality. 

The community nestles conveniently near the Everglades airboat rides. Yet, residents' access to white sand beaches, water sports, an international airport in Fort Lauderdale, golf courses, clinics, parks, and excellent schools (see below) is seamless and fast on good roads. Finally, the sophisticated commercial center - a quick drive away - provides everything a modern urban citizen could wish for - gyms, mall-style shopping centers, national chains, boutique outlets, scores of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and more.

Gated communities near Savanna Weston are Windmill Ranch Estates (far more expensive) and, on a similar affordability level, Ridges, many subdivisions in Weston Hills Country Club, Emerald Estates, and Windmill Lake Estates.
