In 1971 developers converged on a relatively tiny strip of real estate on Beach Rd on Jupiter Island, erecting several condo towers to the maximum height allowed - 11 stories. Their reasons were excellent, driven by the opportunity to construct luxury towers feet from white sand beaches with no roads to cross. Depending on the buildings' designs, they could guarantee residence buyers visions of nature preserves, colorful plants, tall trees, city lights, and at least one of the following:

  • Spectacular unobstructed Atlantic ocean views (facing east).
  • Both Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal views.
  • Long water views north and south from wraparound balconies.
