As an integrated aqua-centric and tropical vegetation campus, it imparts incredible outlooks from backyards, sidewalks, trails, jogging tracks, and other vantage points. 

Boca Lago Country Club HOA information and Residence Upgrades

There are two crucial drivers behind Boca Lago that prospective buyers should be aware of:

1. Monthly HOA fees depend on the subdivision. For example, some multifamily opportunities include insurance of buildings, maintenance of common grounds, repair services to units, plus possibly clubhouse facilities, heated pool, 24/7 closed-circuit security, and gyms. In others, more specifically, the single-family compounds, services are relatively less. HOA fees for multi-family units with various services and community amenities ranged between $450 and $850 monthly. Be sure to nail down this metric when buying.
2. Residences entering the MLS reflect a complete knockdown/new construction, substantial renovation, or a unit little changed since the developer’s handover. Consequently, while the facades may look Old Florida in many cases, don't be surprised to see some listings with:
   
   • Stunning gourmet updated kitchens featuring custom wood cabinetry, onyx, marble, & granite countertops, and top-brand stainless steel appliances.
   • Beautiful Italian porcelain or engineered wood flooring.
   • Spa-like bathrooms and open-plan living spaces, including walk-in closets.
   • Spacious patios or lanais, private pools, and summer kitchens,
   • Replaced roofs and air conditioning.
   • Installation of high-impact windows and sliders.

Boca Lago Country Club Price Analysis

Boca Lago Country Club is a massive turnover community, with 140 homes changing hands over our eighteen-month evaluation window. The highest price for new construction was $760,000 (around $300 per square foot UA), reflecting all the abovementioned upgrades. Indeed, we see that as fantastic value for an out-of-the-box residence (even though it was multifamily). Conversely, dated homes with few enhancements were on the block for as low as $250,000, buying 1,200 square feet (UA) - a little over $200 per square foot (UA). These are ready for the buyers to take on remodeling from scratch, thus meeting personal tastes. 

As one can imagine, prices between the high and low are all over the show, depending on residence type, location on the campus, vista quality, age-restricted (or not), and seller upgrades. Still, acquiring a sizable contemporary late vintage residence for between $650,000 and $750,000 on a magnificent real estate footprint is hard to beat in the Boca Raton residential market, where prices are sizzling.

Boca Lago Golf & Country Club Membership Details and Amenities Breakdown

Homeowners are split between those living on campus, enjoying the golf course environment without joining Boca Lago, and others who opt for membership. We should point out that the latter is an attractive deal. Why? 

• For a start, the non-refundable initiation fee (which every country club charges) is less than 10% of country clubs like Addison Reserve, Polo Club, or Broken Sound at $7,500 for family access to the entire amenity line-up. 
• Then, relatively low annual dues are slightly less than $1,000 monthly (with lower numbers with golf excluded) - around 30% of what other clubs levy their members. 
• So membership could be a proposition, considering that the country club invested $11 million to uplift the infrastructure, which includes:
  
  • Twenty-seven championship holes (designed by Von Hagee and Bruce Devlin) plus practice driving range and putting greens.
  • A tennis center with 20 Har-Tru and hard surface night-lit courts that covers coaching, league, and social programs.
  • A comprehensive cardio/weight training and studio fitness hub.
  • Restaurant choice across three fine and casual dining options.

If interested in joining, please inquire directly with the Boca Lago Golf & Country Club administration. The social package is a startlingly inexpensive option because you can play golf publicly at Boca Lago through entities like CanAm for fees as low as $35 a game (including golf cart and driving range access) whenever you like.

Boca Lago Boca Raton, Palm Beach County Location

Boca Lago residents live east of West Boca and west of Central Boca in an ideal “hybrid” zone on Lyons Road with access to two gigantic commercial developments. As a result, several supermarkets, dozens of restaurants, umpteen boutique outlets, myriad coffee shops, delis, pharmacies, ATMs, beauty salons, national chain stores, clinics, parks, nature preserves, and downtown (Delray and Boca) are a short drive away.
